The Founding 15 · fifteen shops, then it closes

Run the whole shop.
From one screen.

The first fifteen shops get Powerhouse in full — the dispatch board, the AI phone agent, marketing attribution, accounting, commission payroll, all of it — at the Workhorse price. $149 a month instead of $448, locked for life. Not for a year. The price never moves, whatever the public price does.

No contracts. Ever. Month to month, cancel yourself in the app. No card to start, no demo call, no salesperson.

Why this offer exists

Your software should not cost more than your truck payment.

Almost every platform in this trade charges by the seat. Hire a technician and the software bill goes up, which quietly makes the person who is supposed to earn you money into a line item that costs you money. Grow to ten people and you are paying more for the software than the truck it rides in.

ServiceBuilt is priced per shop. One price, unlimited technicians, unlimited office staff. Hiring costs you nothing here. That is not a promotion — it is how the product is priced, and it is the reason the Founding 15 price is worth locking.

What you get

Everything the office does. Everything the truck does.

The Founding 15 seat is not a stripped version of anything. It is Powerhouse, whole, at the entry price.

See it

The office sees the money. The truck sees the day.

One system, two views. Nothing syncs overnight and nothing gets re-keyed — the invoice a technician closes in the driveway is in the month's numbers before he is back in the van.

The maths

Same work. A fraction of the bill.

List prices published by each company, checked on 30 August 2026, for a shop of ten people. We have put the honest version below, including where they are cheaper than us.

ServiceBuilt, Founding 15 — $149 a month. Ten people, or fifty. The number does not change the price.

Housecall Pro — about $479 a month. The Max plan is $329 and covers eight users; the other two cost $75 each.

Jobber — about $399 a month. Grow, scaled to ten users. Their Plus plan works out higher again.

ServiceTitan — unpublished. They do not put a price on their website, which tells you roughly what to expect from the call.

Where they beat us: if you are one or two people, Jobber Core at $49 and Housecall Pro Basic at $79 are genuinely cheaper than $149, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The crossover lands around ten people — from there up, per-seat pricing runs away and ours does not. Even at full list, Powerhouse at $448 beats Housecall Pro from about ten people and Jobber from about eleven.

Why trust it

We do not sell theory. We sell the software running our own shop.

Direct Service Overhead is a working garage door company in Little Rock. It dispatches on this, quotes on this, invoices on this and pays its technicians out of this — every day, on real jobs, and it did so for a long time before a line of it was ever sold to anybody else. When something is wrong, it is wrong on our own jobs first.

Straight answers

What "locked for life" actually means. And the rest.

What exactly is the Founding 15?

The first fifteen shops to come aboard get Powerhouse — the whole platform, office half included — for $149 a month instead of $448, and that price never moves. Not for a year, not until renewal. If the public price doubles, yours does not.

Is there a contract?

No. Month to month, and you cancel yourself in the app without talking to anyone. The locked price is a promise we keep while you are a customer, not a term you are tied into. If you leave and come back later, you come back at whatever the price is then.

Does the price go up when I add technicians?

No. ServiceBuilt is priced per shop, not per seat. Technicians, office staff, bookkeepers and apprentices are all unlimited on both plans. That is the whole reason the maths turns over on a competitor around ten people — their bill grows with your crew and ours does not.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You export it and it is yours. Customers, jobs, estimates, invoices and payments, in a format you can read without us. We would rather you could leave easily and choose not to.

How long does it take to move over?

Migration is free on either plan and we do the moving — customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, payments and the price book. The first migration into this system was 22,000 jobs, reconciled line by line. You review what came across, and what did not, before anything goes live.

What happens after the fifteen are gone?

The page comes down and the price goes to $448. The fifteen who took it keep $149 for as long as they stay.
