Almost every platform in this trade charges by the user. ServiceBuilt charges by the company. That single difference is most of the comparison, and it does not favour us at every crew size — below about six people some of these are genuinely cheaper, and this page shows you where the line is.
No contracts. Ever. Month to month, cancel yourself in the app. No card to start, no demo call, no salesperson.
Everything in this table came off each company’s own pricing page, not from a comparison blog. ServiceTitan is marked “not published” because it is not published — that is a statement about their website, not a guess about their price.

Per-seat pricing is not a scam; it is just a different shape. It is cheaper when you are small and it gets expensive in exactly the year you are growing fastest.
| Crew size | ServiceBuilt Powerhouse | Housecall Pro Max | Jobber Grow |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 people | $448 | $329 | $299 |
| 8 people | $448 | $329 | $399 10-user tier |
| 10 people | $448 | $479 | $399 |
| 15 people | $448 | $854 | $499 |
| 25 people | $448 | $1,604 | $789 |
Housecall Pro Max includes 8 users at $329 and adds $75 per user after that. Jobber Grow is shown at its published user tiers — 5 users $299, 10 users $399, 15 users $499 — then $29 per additional user. ServiceBuilt Powerhouse is $448 at every crew size because it does not count people. Under about nine people, Housecall Pro and Jobber cost less than we do. We would rather you read that here than find it on a spreadsheet after a sales call.
Any comparison page where the author wins every row is an advertisement. These are the real reasons to buy one of the others.
Jobber Core at $49 and Housecall Pro Basic at $79 are less than our $149, and if a single user licence covers you, that is a real saving. Come back when the third truck lands.
A decade of integrations, a partner marketplace, a big implementation team, a conference, and a bench of consultants who set it up for you. If that infrastructure is what you are buying, buy it. We are four hundred and forty-eight dollars and a phone number.
Refrigerant logs, code libraries, load calculations, deep manufacturer integrations. ServiceBuilt is the business layer — dispatch, estimates, follow-up, invoicing, payroll, reporting — and it is configurable, not trade-engineered.
They have thousands of customers and years of edge cases already found. We have a working garage door company that has run on this every day for years, and a short list of shops who took the same bet. That is a real difference and you should weigh it.
Hire a fourth technician, put the office manager on it, give the apprentice a login. None of it changes the invoice. On per-seat software, growing and paying more are the same event.
On either plan. Customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, payments and price book. You review what came across, and what did not, before anything goes live.
You connect the Square account you already use, at your own rate. We take no percentage of card volume and never become the merchant of record — deposits go from Square to your bank without passing through us.
Riley answers the calls the office cannot get to, gets the address and the problem, and books the job. Included in Powerhouse rather than sold as a monthly add-on.
Material cost comes off before the percentage. On jobs with real parts in them, that is the difference between a pay plan that works and one that quietly overpays all year.
Export is yours whenever you want it. The best reason to trust month-to-month pricing is that leaving is genuinely possible.
Not always, and it depends entirely on headcount. Using their published monthly rates: at five people, Housecall Pro Max is $329 and Jobber Grow is $299 against our $448 — they win. At ten people we are $448 against $479 and $399. At fifteen we are $448 against $854 and $499. At twenty-five we are $448 against $1,604 and $789.
The crossover is somewhere around nine people. Below it, buy theirs. Above it, the gap widens every time you hire, because our price does not count people at all.
They do not publish it, so we will not guess. Their pricing page routes to a demo request rather than a number. Every figure you find online for ServiceTitan pricing comes from third parties, most of them competitors writing content marketing, and we are not going to repeat those as fact on our own site.
What we can tell you is that ours is $149 or $448 a month, it is on this page, and it does not change based on how many people you employ.
Three good reasons. If you are small enough that a one-user licence covers you, Jobber Core and Housecall Pro Basic are cheaper than anything we sell. If you need trade-specific machinery — refrigerant logs, code libraries, load calcs, deep manufacturer integrations — we do not have it. And if you want an implementation team, a partner marketplace and a decade of found edge cases, ServiceTitan has built that and we have not.
We would rather tell you that now than lose you in month four.
Not with us — both plans are month to month and you cancel yourself in the app. Housecall Pro states it does not require long-term contracts. Jobber offers monthly billing with no commitment alongside a one-year option. ServiceTitan does not publish its terms.
The competitor figures were read from Housecall Pro’s and Jobber’s own pricing pages on 30 August 2026, and the table says so. Software pricing changes, sometimes quietly — check theirs before you decide anything, and tell us if we have gone stale and we will fix it.
You export it and go. Your records stay readable and exportable for as long as the account exists, including after a subscription lapses. A month-to-month price is only meaningful if leaving is actually possible, so it is.
The same numbers, with the reasons people actually leave each one.
We migrate your history free on either plan, and we do the moving. If it is not better than what you have, you have lost nothing but a month.
